World No Tobacco Day is an initiative started by the WHO (World Health Organization) in 1987, that encourages people worldwide not to use tobacco related products for 24 hours.
This year the WHO’s agenda is to Stop Tobacco Industry Interference, and will focus on the need to slow down the tobacco industry’s constant undermining of tobacco smoke. As we all know, tobacco smoking is an unfortunate epidemic that has cursed the world for centuries. It has been proven to be the cause of many serious (and often terminal) diseases and while before smoking you can easily live without tobacco, once you start it’s very hard to stop.
Stopping smoking is one of the hardest things to do, but it certainly will be the best thing you can do for your health, as after just days without smoking, you will start feeling, looking and smelling better! Technology has sure come a long way to help smokers quit, and from electronic cigarettes to nicotine patches you can get closer and closer to the real thing without hurting yourself.
Needless to say smoking is an expensive habit, whether you are a smoker or a former smoker, as patches, electronic cigarettes and how-to-quit kits certainly don’t come cheap, therefore head over to Yipiii and win your way to a healthier future with just £1!
If anything, put a flower in your ashtray, (the WNTD’s motto), it will surely look and smell better!
